About Wounded Warriors
We help U.S. military veterans and families find resources and understand our programs. Contact providers to confirm services, eligibility and availability. Emergency-aid applications are currently paused.
From the founder
“Veterans don't need another organization explaining what should exist. They need phone numbers that work, programs that pay out this week, and someone who'll answer the email. That's the job — and we built Wounded Warriors to do exactly that.”
What we do
Most veteran nonprofits pick one lane — directory or direct aid. We do both, because veterans don't need to be told to “call 211” when the rent is due tomorrow.

Veteran resource finder
Find listings for County Veterans Service Offices, VA hospitals, clinics, vet centers, VSO posts, housing, employment and crisis services. Review the information shown on each listing and contact the provider to confirm details before traveling.

Direct-aid programs
Learn about emergency financial aid, HRT sponsorships, care packages, housing assistance and community partnerships. Emergency-aid applications are paused because the current funding cycle is fully committed. Each program page explains its requirements and next steps.
View all programs →FY2025 financial reporting
Reported in our FY2025 IRS Form 990 (Parts III and IX). Program service counts are approximate and may overlap; they are not a combined count of unique recipients. View the filing on ProPublica →
Support our work
Choose a suggested gift or another amount. Donations support our work; a specific amount does not guarantee an individual grant, delivery or outcome. Review our Gift Acceptance Policy for restricted gifts.

How we operate
Six operating rules that distinguish us from most veteran nonprofits — and that you can hold us accountable to.
Direct-to-vendor disbursement
Emergency-aid applications are currently paused. Read the program page for the funding status and other sources of help.
Confirm resource details
Listings bring resource information together. Details and availability can change; check the source information shown and confirm with the provider before visiting.
Zero government funding
No federal, state, or VA dollars. No paid placements. No sponsored rankings. Our only obligation is to veterans finding accurate help — and to the donors who fund the work.
No direct-mail fundraising
We don't rent mailing lists. We don't telemarket. We don't trade your name with other nonprofits. If you give, you stay on our list because you want to.
